Limerick #36 The Poor Zelda Trilogy

Contributed by norm on Wednesday, 19th May 2004 @ 11:19:04 AM in AEST
Topic: HumorPoetry

I once knew a man from the mist,
who claimed he had never been kissed,
I got him a girl
his lips they did curl
In movies, he would have been hissed.

I said to him, "Listen, my man,
Away from you, dear Zelda ran,
The way you did sneer
Brought Zelda a tear,
Around here, such action, we ban.

The moral of this silly tale,
Made me to sit down and to wail,
They made me a dope,
Yes!, they sure did elope,
Good intentions will always to fail

Zelda and your little friend?
Off and grabbed your girl again?
You should know to never trust
a man who says it's
Zelda or bust!

Norm, Zelda is my pookah who prayed for you when you couldn't see.
I had no idea she was kiss free.......
I wondered where she had gone.....now I understand she got married!
Hilariously..........I laughed 'til I cried.
love,
consue
