Immortal Love
Across the seas
You leave me on your way
To your long lost lover
The past seven years
Have meant nothing to you
Your goal is to reach your wife
After nigh two decades
Of being separated
Your love for her is stronger
Than your love of immortality
I see that now, as you depart
Across one of the many seas
I see that now, as you leave me
To ponder the past seven years
You leave a life of immortality
For a human to die soon anyway
You leave this island for many reasons
I just wasn't enough of a reason
To keep you here forever
Your heart was hers for forever
A heart of immortality
Surpasses an immortal life without it
You leave to encompass the globe
You leave with immortal love
