This reminds me of my best friend - a boy I have known since I was eleven. He's in trouble now and I usually get the feeling as to whether he is okay or not and I'm not feeling it this time. We are both 26 now and I guess it's time for me to stop worrying but you know it doesn't work that way. It's my "role" in our friendship. Great write and so meaningful to me. Thanks for sharing!
