In this world there is only one certainty,
And that is that one shall suffer greatly,
From misery and despair.
But of one more thing must you beware,
And that is the awfulness of being alone.
After all your friends have flown,
Far away and gone,
In the sky you shall still see the dawn,
But it shall have no meaning,
For the emptiness would still be winning.
Alone you would still be,
For all of eternity.
In the end everyone will desert you,
And you shall see it as your due,
For trying to stay in and fight so long.
Everyone will tell you how wrong,
You are to say you're alone.
But on your last dying groan,
Maybe they shall see,
And possibly be sorry,
For ever doubting,
That what you were telling,
Was the truth and you are cursed.
