Lifepoems

Another sunset trickles past Day after day I cease to change. Neglecting my value Loosing my faith Searching for reasons Too impatient to wait. Day after day I cease to change. Stuck in a lifestyle Plagued by my greed Ashamed of the life I continue to lead Day after day I cease to change I've turned into a liar Deceiving those who care Hurting so many people The guilt too hard to bare Day after day I cease to change. Looking for a messenger To read between the lines Take fragments of an answer And decipher all the signs Day after day I cease to change When will I realize That life's not a game Will it ever hit me That I can't live this way?

Honest and inspiring. This poem reaches deep within the soul to pull out a reality most people are afraid to admit much less write about. Good Work. |

I think you just did. Life is just a long struggle with a lot of twists and turns. The first step is forgiving yourself enough to ask for the forgiveness of others. Then, the growing can begin. This was a great write!

Thank you for your support in the writing of my poem. It was a relief to find that others are empathetic to my feelings despite the negative aspects I may have portrayed about myself. |
