Just A Phone Call Away
Fear no longer,
For today is a new day.
The Sun no more,
Is hidden beneath the clouds of grey.
Leaving darkness and anger.
Even though you think it looks the same,
As the way yesterday ended,
Remember this.
If the world has turned it's back on you,
Leaving you alone,
And cold in the gutter.
Only your true friends,
Are just a phone call away.
Just nine digits,
50 cents and im there,
To be a shoulder to cry upon,
To shelter you from the cold,
That all it takes.
No matter what time of day,
Or how much I have on my own plate,
Remember this:
Friendship is knowing,
I'm just a phone call away.
