Realizing The Impossible

Contributed by ToriVeigh on Thursday, 20th May 2004 @ 10:20:38 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

The doubt builds and builds
Every day seems more and more
To see its end, Id be thrilled
My heart and mind, no longer sore

What feat will that require?
Is this thought just a dream?
Its a dream that I desire
Yes - impossible, it does seem

Things Ive thought impossible
Have been realized before
However much the gamble
This dream Ill not ignore

Of failure, Im terrified
But if I refuse to try
And choose to run and hide
My own defeat, will I supply

The choice seems easy enough
Ive a strategy to devise
For me that parts tough
So Ill seek advice thats wise

Though success is never assured
Its a place Ill endeavor to reach
Ill consider advice procured
And learn what life will teach
