Topic: oops

a thousand dreams of eternity
awaken the depths of my mind
covering the sand of the hour glass
withheld for I am blind

and kisses fall like rain drops
caresses embrace the hours
infinite assurance
the words will never turn sour

I think I may be falling
the ground is always just ahead
I find that in my falling
I hope to land upon your bed

my eyes where closed love
how could one be so blind
but you reached inside
and awoke my mind

caught in the emptiness
that is my despair
no one wonders
no one cares

my heart was empty
torn and bruised
I felt so haunted
so broken and used

you spoke to me
it was like a song
and now I know
where I belong

at your side
a faithful slave
and I swear to you
that I will behave

just as long as you hold me still
as I try to look upon myself
and help to ease the pain
in my heart iv always felt
