Eulogy of a Dead Twosome

Contributed by alecfernadez on Saturday, 22nd May 2004 @ 04:24:45 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Her dress was laced with chloroform
Her lipstick contained cyanide
My folks complained she was trouble
Like a fool I never listened
I was lost behind her blue eyes
For her, I was ready to die

Counting the flies on the ceiling
Just bored and tired of living
She was the first to say the words
Ill die if you will die with me
Leave this sad world filled with sorrow
End it so theres no tomorrow

Here we are hands clasped together
Waiting for our blood to run dry
From these slashes right through our wrists
We may have still loved together
But now we can die together
Counting the flies on the ceiling
As this world fades far from our sight

Now the sheets burn red from our blood
One last embrace from this faade
From a life supposedly great
Our lips touch for the last evening
As we both fade away from life
We look into each others eyes
And say goodnight
