Friend or Foe

Topic: AngryPoetry

Youve done me a great disservice
Youve removed the gift of death from me
There will be return to the old times
Where noone will die and you will see
The world is full of mocking faces
You cant shelter your flame from the wind
Cant hide the truth for all its lies
You must see it is time to begin
Your suffering blocks out all good thoughts
Unsatisfied with the hand youve been dealt
And you still sit alone in the darkness
Remembering the pain that youve felt
Why didnt somebody help you
People only help when they leave
Imagine a life of no hatred
A thought thats too hard to concieve
Extract pure pain with a needle
The tracks up your arm are the proof
Distinguishing friends from your enemies
Distinguishing lies from the truth
Your train is derailed and bleeding
Your flower has turned to dust
Your heart becomes cold
Your veins now run dry
Your tears fall on yourself and you rust

How very true there are many junkies that could say the same as this well expressed poem. Drugs are definately not the answer.
