LoveRemembered
|
I sat on your mobile the whole way to Galway And we laughed... We talked the entire journey And I thought: He hears me! I fell into you then And for the next two days, Deeper still. And on the way home, In my tiredness, I couldn't speak But twofold: Your affect. I just wanted to look at you, Study you, Take you in, Breathe you in. Memorise and remember you, Knowing too soon, I would be travelling This and every other path here Alone And without you. But my heart belongs to you And that has journeyed further than I As we say goodnight, Loving the magic of three weeks That made us... Us!

Bought back memories if hitching in Ireland when i was 18, my friend and i got to Wexford and thought our destination sligo was just up the road! two days and lots of hitching later we got there. For me this was the only way to see Ireland. A beautiful country, thanks for sharing this everythings just come flooding back.
