How am I supposed to, show you that I care
when everytime I reach for you, you know you never there
How am I supposed to, hold you in my arms
when I don't get the chance, to show I mean no harm
How am I supposed to, help you ease your pain
when everything I do for you, seems to be in vain
How am I supposed to, show you this is real
when I cant show you, exactly how I feel
How am I supposed to, explain these things to you
when you not there to notice, half the things I do
But how am I supposed to, simply let you walk away
and leave you by yourself, another lonely day
How am I supposed to, not tell these words to you
when at this point and time, words will have to do
