Alone

Topic: Lifepoems

Whether in the body or the mind,
Being alone is an enemy of time...
Moments take a eternity,
Hours seen like infinity....
so much can happen in a short period of time,
so much that it bewilders the mind...
A heart stops, a breath fades, an eye closes....
A newborn cry is heard, a bird sails overhead, a dozen flowers show their splendor they are all roses.....
Yet what is a day except hours, minutes, seconds, For all the world time does beckon....
Where does it go, from whence did it come,
day by Day our earthly race is run....
heartaches, joy, work, play, find a second to pray.
Let not your heart be lonely by night or day....
Go through this world with a smile and a grin, No matter what life hands you; with God on your side you will win..... Lonely? Alone?
Only if your heart is made of stone.
People will love you if you let them in,
they will help you this race to win....
Walk by the rivers, listen to the stream,
The joy of life is yours to gleam...
Heartache, pain, labor, and death we do all share,
all we can do is take it to the Lord in prayer......
Are you alone? only if you don't have Christ by your side, he promised me he never would part...
As long as I would let him; live in my heart.
