Did I try to hard to make you glad
How was I supposed to know being scared was bad
Wasn't it you who gave me no warning
Now I am still here, only this time hurting
How was I to know you weren't a sure thing
I never thought this much pain you'd bring
Why did I open myself up to pain
I hate how this is driving me so insane
And though my eyes are seemingly crying
My strength will prove eternally undying
And I know I have to at least try
Because you don't deserve to be the reason I cry
