His secure, caring hold, thinking you will never be apart
The illusional beating of his cold, dead heart
You live a life in denial
Paining a polite, warm smile
Dying inside, losing strength knowing nothing is real
Every word said, a lie
While inwardly you cry
Knowing every sweet word you said, never made him feel
Silently you fall apart
Feeling almost dead inside
The unspoken secrets that love
Was never once alive
