When I first saw you,
I was quite surprised.
I wasnt expecting what would come next.
One look at you,
And you had me completely mesmerized.
I froze in place.
I couldnt stop staring at you-
Especially your eyes.
You have beautiful eyes.
And when we caught each others eyes
Wow.
I think I melted.
Then you smiled at me,
And your eyes twinkled.
I melted all over again.
Talking to you was amazing.
I sensed you were intelligent,
But you didnt flaunt it- impressive.
That night flew by.
It seemed as though we shared only moments.
Then I had to part.
I was very reluctant to leave you-
I had grown attached.
Yet I was still forced to say goodbye.
We were alone.
We stared at each other.
I saw it in your eyes.
I had the perfect opportunity to kiss you,
And I knew it was fine with you.
We were both ready.
But you know what?
I didnt.
I blew it.
