Firstly let me say
I write this off the cuff
Staring at a blank page
Tends to make it tough.
I'm writing to let you know
I dream of you.
Even when i'm awake you are
A perfect vision in blue.
The thoughts I have so many
And varied my vocal chords are statue
I listen to music to inspire me but it's a lie
When all that inspires me is you.
If I could write like Wordsworth or Shelley I would
But i'm nothing special, just a guy with a dream
Of you...me...harmony...
And all the loving that can be
And so I write these words as the music beats
The floor shakes and I do too
But all is silent in my head no music reaches me
The only music I hear is you...I love you
