You have ignited a fire
That burns deep inside
In areas long dormant
Now coming alive
I've kept myself hidden
No feelings would show
Not allowing my heart to beat
For fear, all would know
Never wanting to hurt
As I had once before
Yet, wondering all along
Will I love anymore
You've answered that question
Whether wrong or right
So alive I began to feel
Since you entered my life
It may be all in vain
But this much is true
From the moment I first saw you
I believe I've loved you
