why do I stand for this,
I take it from you and I know I shouldnt.
I tell myself Im strong enough to withstand you,
but I fall ever time you are near.
You force me to be weak
I see the real you and know what you want.
but you dont see it
so I tell myself I still have a chance...
to convince your heart.
but you dont care to listen
you dont want to hear me...
just what you believe about him
but its false
and I see he doesnt hold you as dear as I
he doesnt want you the same way that I do
he wasnt there before,
he left you for another,
and didnt even bother to come around
to call
to see if you need anything
but you run to him
every time
every chance
I was there
I never left
I always give you what you need
without you even asking....
but you dont even see me in the shadows
crying over my loss
you just strut in his arms
and flaunt what you give him
because you dont want to see me
you know Im there, you know I cry
but you want to keep me hanging on
keep someone around who you know cares
in case he leaves you again...
like you know he will
and I tell you he will
but you run to him
everyday
and Im so angry with it...
because I will have to pick up the pieces
I will have to hold your tears
I will be the one to mend your heart
because I care
because I would never leave you
even though you dont want me...
I try to show you how much you mean to me
but you run to him
all the time
every time
and I struggle to maintain
to keep it together
to not breakdown
because I know
sooner or later, without fail
he will break your heart....
and this is when....
and only when...
youll run to me.

oh holder.... this borders on tragic. If you were in love and stupid (a/k/a "blind) like so many are - I'd be tempted to tell you to move on, to forget her, to.... whatever. Alas!... you are in love and fully aware. Fully aware. The last two lines... *sigh*... I don't begin to know what to say.

I really dont know the words for this...spectacular I'd give it all the stars in the uiniverse if i could only grasp them...I liked this one...a lot...powerful very powerful...speechless...
