Life has taken an unexpected turn
Lessons from which I must learn
Flaming circles stare and burn
Reality is a line I cannot discern
Twisted are these thoughts of mine
Direction needed show me the sign
Swerving left and right of the line
Deeds are done now pay the fine
Spuing forth and flowing free
Wreckless abandonment is not to be
Though trouble comes and you will see
Im locked up and need the key
Whimsical fantasy fluttering by
Questions fill fountains asking why
Chained to this place no way to fly
Perhaps I stand perhaps I lie
Surrounded bound imprisoned encavement
Wishful freedom but only detainment
Wanting to soar and break this containment
Falling so fast I hit the pavement
Screams from around now fill the air
Little pools of conviction do now stare
My life in my hands and so i dare
While words of the wise warn beware
It is near and I do taste
Life and living I have chased
So close now I must make haste
Fearing my existence now goes to waste
