Sitting together under the starlight sky, You were holding my hand, We were talking about the things to come, We were making our plans. You were leaving, going out of town, It was only going to be a short time, But at the end of it all the plans were gone, And you were no longer mine. To go back to the simplicity of that night, Just you and me under the stars, I would give anything to turn back time And be once again in your arms. Laughing and talking, Trying to talk in whisphers, Not wanting to wake your father up, But needing to feel a little closer. That's my strongest memory of us, Just me and you sitting under the stars, Even though now you are years away, In my mind, I'm still in your arms.

Memories are like keepsakes...always to be treasured. You WILL find that certain someone that makes you feel like this again and make some more memories.

After my sister died, my grandma gave me a box...there was nothing it...nothing at all. When I asked her what it was for..she said it is for memories. Good, bad whatever I chose to fill it with...and whenever I would sit and reminence about the times me and my sister had..I was to take that box out and put them all in there..that way..I always had them..always knew where they were..and no one could take them away from me. Having memories of a loved one..whether a family member or lover is a precious item. Keep your memories..never lose them. Because no matter how it turns out for you..you will always have your memories :) |

Gin, this is beautiful. I remember a night like that one too. Sometimes I wish I could live it forever.
