You're not the one that got away
I'm the one who would not stay
That's been the truth since the day
Any other lie would be the same
You're not the one
So I rant and say
By choice came undone
All my fault when I went away
Now, you're locked in my dreams
Never to save my day
That's been truth since we played
Any other lie would be the same
I love the facts
That I miss you girl
I hate the truth
That sets free to my world
Sometimes I wish
I didn't know you at all
But to tell the truth
I thank God
That's been the truth since before the rain
Any other lie would wash away
Everynight & past the day
I stand alone but unafraid
I feel your heart
And breath in your tears
It's not the dark
That comes to take my fears
It's a hollow thought
That long dissappeared
Like a waking trial
That has since layed in dreams
You're not the one
The one that got away
I'm was the one
The one who could not stay
If there was any other truth
Let it come today
To wash away these chains

I really like this poem, its one of my favorits, I like the wording and how it sounds
