People judge before they even know me
I hear stereotypes every time, everyplace
I hear them for every sex, every person, every race
It doesnt matter where youve been
And who you are
All that matters is what they see
And who they think you are

I have glasses so Im smart
Im blond so Im dumb
With stereotypes Im an oxymoron
I see things differently so they think Im crazy
I run slow so they think Im lazy

The Irish can be nothing but drunk
Being black is all about the funk
A guy that shaves his legs is automatically gay
If you ask me stereotypes never go my way

Smart girl, dumb girl, fat girl,
Shy girl, gentle girl, nice girl,
Mean girl, slow girl, sarcastic girl,
Witchy girl, childish girl, mature girl,
Noisy girl, messy girl, beautiful girl,

Did they ever think that maybe Im none of those things

amen to this! So true its sad noone takes a moment these days to know the person deep inside not thinking of anything else but a person heart and soul well done spread this word around the world maybe it would be a better place!
