waiting for my angel
she is among Gods most beautiful faces she belongs in his glory the most heavenly place i do not belong in her presence, worthy not am i her perfection is too radiant for this ground and sky i want to be her angel a holy guide to the lords house show her the light of his kingdom, tho im a lowly mouse so i pray for the strength and wisdom to take her home home, a place for her to shine bright and never be alone i want to set her free, free of this world, free of wicked ways free to speak her mind, free to spread her wings and fly away she will be so thankful maybe she will even hug me or perhaps love me im tired of waiting God gave me the power i can do this trust me so i set her free i came like a thief in the night i set her free she embraced Gods light society arrested me locked me up and threw away the key accused of manslaughter, murder in the first degree sitting behind these bars waiting for my angel to set me free
In The Dark
i hear bells ringing, spirits singing, could it be love? see her smile, like a child, its what ive dreamed of on the telephone, shes all alone, full moon-midnight blue first she laughs, then she gasps, whos she talkin to? i make up a name to pass the blame, to the other end of the line then she hangs up,fills her cup, with some devils cherry wine she likes to drink,at least i think, perhaps her mommy does too she lies in bed, turns her head, starts screaming aloud she sees my eyes, now its bedtime, sleep tight dont make a sound if you yell were going to hell, the daddy opens the door he shoots me dead, lying in her bed,i guess my love is no more
behind the bushes, my beating heart outside your window, im in the dark
