I dreamt of you last night
and every detail worked out right
you loved me just as much
or maybe even more
and when i touched your face
the world began to die.
i could not dream a lie
and broken was our love.
fires smothered the earth
and in ashes we did lie
renewing the dear sweet soil
and renewing our sweet love.
the life that came upon us
let us start a new,fresh as morning
and yet the world was mourning.
for the world began to die
i could not live a lie
and broken was our love
with our love came pain
and so we couldnt be
although i'd die again
if you'd stay with me.

Awh what a touching sentimental write. Almost song like with melodious rhyme going through it. An enjoyable read. Sometimes what we want is not always the best for us. However you managed to make a darn good lyrics out of it. Good for you.
