Come Home

Contributed by Joker17 on Saturday, 29th May 2004 @ 03:57:39 PM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

All I want to do is Come Home
I want to see you every day
I miss everything I left behind
I’ll never be complete this way.

All I need to do is Come Home
And be there for you every night
I love everything I left behind
I promise I can make it all right.

Will you ever let me Come Home?
Do you still want me that way?
In time I know I’ll prove it to you
This time I’m back forever to stay.

I’m asking you to let me Come Home
I know you’re unsure, I understand
But my love will not let you go
As the hourglass is losing it’s sand.

This will be the last time I’ll Come Home
I won’t leave just because it might rain
There’s so much to lose, with no guarantee
But there’s so much love left for us to gain.

I’m almost ready, then I’ll Come Home
But I’m waiting ‘till you want that too
There’s nothing more true that I can say
But I’m promising my whole life to you.

And soon, somehow, I need to Come Home
I know that we will all be alright
You only have to say those two words
That you want me to Come Home, tonight.
