Lets live in the past, for just a while more,
You dont have to outgrow me.
I know, this is oh so hard for you,
You know it feels impossible,
But I want more time.
And I know, that you still love me deep inside,
I can see it in your eyes.
And thats why you dont want to give me hope.
But please dont let that keep you from me,
All I need is some more time.
Let me be your blanket,
Your security,
Ill put my arms around,
You can count on me.
Let me make it better,
Kiss away all of your pain.
Just a little while longer.

I know one day, our end will come. But I dont feel its here today.

| A heart that struggles is a heart that feels. Reaching for what we know is safe, but carfully one should be who reaches for tired support. The poem was kind and hopeful. |
