THE SHORE LINE As I walk along the shore line My bare feet in the sand I long to see my sister And take her by her hand We may walk along in silence For no words wed have to say And cherish every moment As we walked along our way
We may talk about our childhood The laughter and the fun The joys that we both shared When we where very young Wed pause in breathless wonder Of the beauty all around And listen to that music And the sounds from far beyond So when Im felling lonely Ill know just what Ill do Ill take a walk along that shore That takes me back to you

That's a pretty write!
It speaks of the beauty of nature as well as the happy memories that associate with it...
Well done Elaine :)

I found this to be a beautiful poem and a nice tribute to nature God and your sister. I am hopeful that she is still with you--if not dear one Take that lovely walk.
I want to read all of your poetry, but must comment on others now.
