A nation punished for what one guy did,
A would-be newspaper caption if the press was set free,
But, what theyre pressed to make do with,
Is, They wiped the smudges and opened-up our eyes to see,
The Iraqis are covered with blood [Says the autocrat],
I dont care if its their own,
Saddam killed for riches,
Thats exactly why the Iraqis are known
Theyre a threat to my home country,
Theyre a liability to my land,
Theyre hiding weapons of mass destruction!
Dont you understand?
Then, the brave adversary rises up to ask,
Do its oil reserves have no influence on you?
Once again the tyrant hogs the media and replies,
I have no further comments. This meeting is through,
So, that leaves a looming question,
To spectators like you and me,
Is justice being done?
Well, well just have to wait and see
