Walk Away

Contributed by Jazz on Sunday, 30th May 2004 @ 03:56:31 PM in AEST
Topic: InternetLove

You said I am in your thoughts,
but maybe I shouldn't be.
I wanted you through thick and thin.
But no, you didn't want me.

I trusted the every word you said,
and took them all to heart.
I hoped for more then just a friendship.
I wanted a love that would never part.

I did cry so many tears,
for broken trust and heartbreak.
I let down my every guard.
That was my mistake.

I talk to you now, like old friends.,
and it's hard talking with my head.
I had to learn to stop using my heart,
and speak with my mind instead.

But you are someone so intriguing,
and I smile at the thought of you.
You make me happier, then you should.
So, what do I do?

I want to have you in my life,
for love that will never end.
I don't know if I am can handle,
only being your friend.

But I will take it as it comes,
and let it happen every day.
Maybe someday I'll find strength,
enough to walk away.

Wow very powerful wirte. I hope you kind the strength. Someone can never love someone who allows themselves to be walked on. It would be better to stand your ground and you will be suprised at the result.
