Everyone can see, this is the real me
They see how much I care
And whether we go, to a bar or a show
People ask how long weve been a pair
I have no reply, just lower my head and sigh
What should I say when they inquire?
Ill leave it to you, to answer them true
My chest burns like a raging fire
Is he your boyfriend? No. My pain starts to show
Will your answer ever be yes?
Under what circumstance, would you give us a chance.
Ill treat you like a princess
They see my hearts true, everyone but you
The one who I need to believe
But you have your doubts, so Im left without
How can I make the fear leave?
Questions I cant answer, eat away like a cancer
But Ill search to find a way
To show you my love is true, all I want is you
I prove it with each new day
