oops

often being alone keeps me sane
it takes some of the stress off my brain
all by myself to sleep or just read a book
give my poems some thought with a fresh outlook
some alone time just me, myself and i
thats time to myself i could never deny
no troubles of work with kids all day
no kids at home pulling me this way and that way
time to journal all that weighs on my heart
and make decisions that are wise and smart
just me time all to myself all alone
just glad that everyone else is gone
just me, myself and i

Great write. As a full time student with 2 jobs and 6 other people in the house I know what you mean about time to yourself. Those times are great for catching up on just about anything. Good flow to the poem and definitly shows how great just sitting down with a book or something can be.
