BED TIME PRAYER A little girl is kneeling beside her mommys bed Her daddy stands and watches and than he bows his head He wraps his arms around her as the tears they start to flow For her mommy went to heaven just a little while ago Now shes talking to her mommy she thinks that she can see If theres a God in heaven oh please let it be
Weep for the children Oh weep for the children Weep for the children that cry out in the night
I can see you mommy I can see you now Mommy youre so pretty are you wings made out of gold? I can see your halo its shining oh so bright Mommy was it Jesus that held my hand last night Are you one of Gods angels does daddy know your there? If youll come home now mommy Ill say my bed time prayers
Weep for the children oh weep for the children Weep for the children that cry out in the night
