What did I do to deserve such a man
Who knows me better than I?
To find my heart there in his hands
And my future there in his eyes?
What did I do to deserve such a man
Who can show me with one gentle kiss
The purity, passion, and strength of true love
And the joy of eternal bliss?
What did I do to deserve such a man
With whom I can share my hopes and my dreams?
Who gives me the brightest of stars on the darkest of nights
No matter how far away they may seem?
What did I do to deserve such a man
Whose smile warms the coldest of days?
Who loves me through it all, the good and the bad
And shows me in so many ways?
What did I do to deserve such a man
With whom every emotion feels new?
Whose warm loving eyes can penetrate mine
With their fire so bright and so blue?
What did I do to deserve such a man
Whose love could not be more true?
What did I do, tell me what did I do
To deserve as perfect a man as you?
