I remember something you once said
You don’t believe in Fate
That destiny is something more
That you alone create.
There is no one that can decide
How your life will turn out
You have to make it what you want
It’s your choices, it’s about.
If that’s the case, I might agree
But it makes me wonder why
I try so hard, to reach so far
But I’m just left to cry?
I always thought my Fate was real
I took what came my way
You’ve made me see so much more
You’ve taught me that today.
The more I think about it now
The more I see the light
I love it, and I’m ready to
Turn all my wrongs to right.
You said it once, now I believe
So I’ve left who I have been
I’m back, and I’m a better man
I’ll show you once again.
This time I’ll stay, I’ll never go
I cross my heart, you’ll see
I’ve made my Fate, it’s loving you
My Fate is you and me.

Really well written. I like the sentiment you got across through your words - I have written many poems with this theme involved and enjoy other's perspectives being expressed about it.
