on a star-speckled night I walk down the cobblestone streets trying to keep my mind away from you and miserably failing your eyes permanently engraved in my soul your lips permanently fused to mine I long for the touch of your hand on my face I've got to see you again I can't stand the feeling of being away from you I can't stand being alone your presence completes me, fills the empty ounces of my soul when you walk away it kills a little you don't realize how caressing the thought of you is to my mind my passion soars for you like twenty blackbirds in sudden flight you are my shelter from the storms of night I've got to see you again
