I came down a little while
At least to stop the tears
Calm neath the wave
Learning to bury
Embedded
We hold out our hands like children
Lending trust...Seeking a return
I'm yours in every way but one
My quiet rage undone
Wanting you to succumb
To the little charms
Like light across the sky
Supressed hearts, Failed hopes
Only following raised dreams
I've not grown up
Just believed
And taken this path where it leads
To leave a dry eye
And wring it out
We offer up our hearts eagerly
In the deep hush
And beg forgiveness
Until then
You're mine in every way but
None.
