Strange how it seems to creep up Tho youve watched it on the horizon The darkened sky that settles above That you cautiously keep your eyes on.
You feel it in the air The current on the breeze The tension that is mounting The sound that makes you freeze.
Funny how it seems to blow on in When you least expect it. Youve been watching all this time But didnt think it would really hit.
The storm erupts and the lightening strikes You never know when, why or who Till youre crying through the night And you realise that it has hit you.
