You left me with
a silent kiss
You woke me gently
before the dawn
You reached my soul
with your warm glance
You made me believe
we had a chance...
I watched you leave
through my tears
I cried softly in
the morning light
I bared my heart and
gave to you
I believed in
what we had...
You heard my cry
within the dark
You met my dream
with a guiding light
You held my hand
through the storm
You gave me hope
for what's to come...
I see your face and
the fear that's there
I'll soar with you
to the next great height
I'll walk beside you
all the way
I want to show you
the reason you have to stay...
