I can hear you breathing
And you become more aware
Everybody seems to stop and stare
I don't want to be here
Not here with you
Because I'm scared, I'm so scared
That everything was true
They kept lying, I turned to run
You caught me before I fell
So why haven't you betrayed me yet?
You haven't told, you promised not to tell
I'll swim in shallow waters
In fear that I will drown
Because despite it all, I'm so scared
Of being found
I don't want to be here
Not here with you
I'm afraid of falling in love
And afraid of you loving me too
Would you believe if I told you
You're worth everything to me?
You brought me to life, you are my life,
And you're still here with me
I don't want to be here
If being here is without you
When everything becomes a risk
In this world of two
I can hear you breathing
And you become more aware
Everybody seems to stop and stare
And as I look beside me, I see you're still there
