As the sunlight lets off its glowing cast
She drifts away to days long past
Where nights of warmth didn't seem to last
Good morning beautiful.
Remembering the scent of his cologne
How the sparkle in his eyes brightly shone
When his arms were a safe place to call home
Good morning beautiful.
How she was always so lost in the tone of his voice
The happiness in her heart that made her soul rejoice
And how she would still have him if it were her choice
Good morning beautiful.
Drawing a deep breath she brings reality along
Closing up her thoughts to remain hidden and strong
Though living for every morning, the sound of their song
Good morning beautiful.
