Shes a young girl,
Only in her teens,
Yet she knows already
So much about longing,
About desperation,
About lust,
And maybe even love.
Shes a young girl,
Only in her teens,
And already experiencing such powerful emotions,
Maybe even dangerous ones.
Shes a young girl,
Only in her teens,
Yet she knows so much about heartbreak.
She thinks she is in love,
In love with a gorgeous boy,
With his deep, thoughtful eyes that look right through her,
That look into her very soul,
Chilling her to the core, giving her goose-bumps, and shivers,
From her spine to her toes.
Though she thinks she loves her gorgeous boy,
With his deep eyes and his caring hands,
And his candied scent that makes her long to inhale him forever,
Though she thinks she loves her gorgeous boy,
He doesnt love her back.
He is a prince,
And she is a toad.
How could a gorgeous boy, such as he,
Possibly love a toad?
