You turned your back on my love and left me cold,
I remain stunned by all of the lies you told.
Who was I in love with all of this time?
A figment of my imagination who was caring and kind.
He looked deep into my eyes and told me he cared
And late at night it was his soul that he bared.
I welcomed his body so soft and so deep;
He held me in his arms and rocked me slowly to sleep.
He treated me as if I was the only one,
But I finally woke up and now we are done.
Your magic tricks worked because you sure fooled me,
You were only an illusion, a mirage, a fantasy.
Lo and behold the hand moves faster than the eye
You slapped me in the face so now I must say goodbye.
