Shattered Feelings
These feelings drain me
I have nothing but them
After you left me
You are doing this
To help me
But I think otherwise
You don't want a threat
To you and your life
I have to eliminate these feelings
Or destroy myself within
Is there anything left to destroy?
I feel empty except for the hate
The hate that replaced everything
Again another fall
These feelings grew too much
They drain me everyday
I can't take this another day
But I have to with the choice made
Again another fall
It seems I never leave the ground
Except to fall for lies
After you left
I realized my mistake
Of ever thinking I could trust you
You shattered me
Again another fall
As I fall into my shattered self
Away from the pain endured
The way life stood

| You know some say, that it is best to get to know someone, before you fall for them. I myself find that hard to believe though. People can be very sweet in the beginning, and then show their true feelings later on in a relationship, but it is up to us all not to make one another fall. Always get to know the person before you ever fall for them, or you will always be walked on in life. Other than that this was a very sad, and touching read. I wish you the best of luck, and hope you get to feeling better. |
