The Touch Of An Angel's Heart

Contributed by Dragons_Of_Rose on Tuesday, 16th July 2002 @ 06:15:39 AM in AEST
Topic: LostLove

Giving her Knight her heart, she watches him at bay
Unknowing of the ordeal, his happiness grows each day
Soon his glow brightens, giving him hope to light the way
The touch of an Angels heart.

Seeing her work is almost done, she tries to stop her emotions
Growing weaker by the minute, toward her love she motions
Closing the final training, she's offered a higher promotion
The touch of an Angels heart.

Seeing what lays before her, she pushes it aside
This heart meant the most to her, friendship she wants to provide
Instead of being safely within, she'll gladly watch from outside.
The touch of an Angels heart.

God offering to take her heartache, she stand and softly declines
Saying, "Though he wasn't mine to keep, I'll always mark him at mine.
Even if I can't have him, I'll walk along the sidelines,
Because I gave him the touch of an Angels heart."

Yes, very touching poem:> This was sweet, how she helped someone to love, like a love counselor:> would be hard to teach without falling in love, tough job:> But as the poem says:>

:>:>:>:>God offering to take her heartache, she stand and softly declines
Saying, "Though he wasn't mine to keep, I'll always mark him at mine.
Even if I can't have him, I'll walk along the sidelines,
Because I gave him the touch of an Angels heart."

know love, show love, declining a love she cannot have, beautiful memories, this is really a tough poem to read, heartache heartbreak, yet shows the gentle heart she has to have given this special love to him:>

Meagan:>
