I write these words for you
the true love of my life
For all these years of happiness
as my best friend and my wife
I remember all the good times
in this life we have shared together
Along with the hardships
we have had to weather
Thank God for giving us
many more good than bad
Spending more time being happy
and less time being sad
Who could possibly be given
more happiness in their life
Then having you beside them
as their loving wife
