Wishful Thinking

I sit here late at night
Thinking of you
I cant even sleep
I sit here wondering
How are you doing?
Are you okay?
Do you remember me?
Do you miss me?
Did you ever care about me?
Have I been replaced?
Why did you leave me?
Were you afraid of getting too attached?
So many questions run through my mind
I hold my pillow tight, wishing it were you
Then cry myself to sleep
I miss you so much
You dont even know
I would do anything to see you again
But you have probably forgotten me
I wish I could say the same
I have never been able to forget you
Or stop thinking about you
Stop caring about you
Or stop loving you
I just wish that you felt the same
Maybe one day you will see what a huge mistake you made
Realize what you lost
Hopefully when you do, it wont be too late
To get it back
To start again from where we left off
To start a life together!
