Time Did Fly
------------
Im lying with you,
In the big boys bed.
Waiting for you,
To close your eyes.
Looking over,
How youve grown
Makes me realize,
How fast the time did fly.
Wasnt long I was rocking you,
In your favorite chair.
Its amazing, can it be?
Has it really been a year?
Youve grown right before my eyes,
Youve become a little man.
But I know Im not ready to let go,
Of your precious little hand.
But soon, far too fast,
Youll be all but grown.
And Ill look back on this time,
As the best Ive ever known.
