You're my angel
Tortured, betrayed
An angel who sits silent
Tired and battered
Fell from heaven
Landed in hell
Bruised and broken
Wings torn
Eyes red
Heaven send us and angel
But he ripped himself away
Sitting somberly in a puddle of his own
Tears of blood
My heart pounds for him
My soul screams
Not wanting to believe
But it's no use now
I know I can't take it
But somehow I'm still watching
Seeking salvation in the sound
Of your screaming
You're my only slice of sanity
The only way
I can gasp for air
Without you I am wilted
ALmost nothing
I need you there inside my head
Reminding me to breathe
Please, my angel, help me not to
Lose control
Hold on to me
So I don't let go
It's you I'm living for
You're my tortured angel
Opening my eyes
Every time you speak
Your bleeding sends daggers
into my heart
From the day I saw you
Heard your voice
I knew my soul wouldn't stop
Screaming for you
Tortured angel
Fell from heaven
Landed in hell
Life will never be the same
From the day you awoke
To the day you fell
The years you spent fading away
You're gone
You'll never return
No, not in flesh or blood
But all the hate,
All the drugs
They will always linger here
We won't forget
We'll never forget
The sound of your cries
The pounding in your screams
THe pain in your voice
The agony inside
Rising up with each breath
Heaven sent me an angle
But that angel ripped himself away
He fell from heaven
Landed in hell
Life will never be the same without him
But he's still helping
Through each day
