The feeling of excitement
You know the one you get
When you have butterflies
In your stomach
From the moment that you met
The way you light up
When you mention his name
Hoping and praying
That he feels the same
Your heartbeat grows faster
Every time he is near
Excitement is heightened
As he whispers in your ear
When he tells you he loves you
Those butterflies take flight
Hearing those words
As he holds you so tight
Feeling a love
So beautiful
So true
Lost in a world
That exists just for two
These are the feelings
That build up inside
These are the feelings
That no one can hide

Awe...that gave me goosebumps. What an awesome description of the feelings of being in love. That was adorable and true. It put me in dream land for a while. Thanks for the escape.
